This particular wristwatch is estimated to be from the mid 70s, however, it was actually the decade before where Piaget began to revolutionise stone dials in watches.
In the early 1960s, Piaget introduced many different dials, from turquoise, tigers eye and lapis.
These dials were very fashion focussed and really brought the jewellery and horology world together - I really feel, along with Cartier, that Piaget certainly pioneered this trend.
This Hawkeye dial houses the famous ultra-thin 9P movement and its condition is unmatched, with its original reference and serial numbers un touched and still crisp.
