In the early 1970s, Louis Cartier crafted a series of 12 different Cartier models in Paris, one of which was the reference 78090. This reference was named after the location of the original Paris store in Vendome, which opened in the early 1900s. It holds the mechanical movement, Calibre 78, within its 18k stepped case. The dial has slight spidering but is otherwise in great condition for its age. The leather strap is an aftermarket blue lizard style and the buckle is gold plated in Cartier Style.
